Pasco-Hernando Community College owns and operates three full service campus stores; operates it own print service; and leases out it’s food and vending service.

The campus stores’ primary operation is that of selling textbooks and digital content. Textbooks and digital content represent 85 percent of all sales generated by the campus stores; the remaining 15 percent consists of supplies, reference materials, uniforms, software and PHCC memorabilia. The campus stores also serve as college teller windows, collecting and accounting for all fees and tuition.

Auxiliary operations are self-supporting and are not funded from college operating dollars. Auxiliary services must provide funds for inventory purposes, salaries, operating expense, utilities and maintenance. Auxiliary operations are expected to operate with a conservative profit margin sufficient to sustain growth, maintain operational reserves and provide funds each year for projects and purposes beneficial to enhance PHCC’s student educational goals.

Mission statement
Auxiliary services extends the learning environment beyond the classroom and enhances the quality of campus life through the delivery of quality goods and service.

The unit supports the academic mission of Pasco-Hernando Community College by assisting in the recruitment and retention of students, by encouraging students to develop personal responsibility as consumers, citizens, and leaders, by creating an environment that encourages academic success.

Auxiliary services seeks to set the standards for excellence by continuously refining and improving operations in a market driven environment.

Auxiliary services are financially self-sustaining, funding their operations, the renewal and replacement of equipment and providing financial resources for the future growth and development of the college.
